We are looking for people who are ready, willing, and able to substitute for our current teachers when they cannot go to school as assigned. You may be asked to work one day, several days, or possibly a week or more.

Joining our sub team is extremely flexible. We will notify you of available shifts which you may freely decline if you’ve already made plans. If you’re available, you can pick up some supplemental income.

We train our ‘subs’ the same way we train our regular employees. When permanent positions become available throughout the school year, we also look at our sub team first. Therefore, there might be the opportunity to turn your sub position into a full-time role.

Being a sub with us won’t restrict you from seeking alternative employment either. In fact, we encourage our subs to do so in order to support themselves.

Position: On-Call Reserve ALT

• Location: Preferably in West Saitama, Gunma, or nearby to Yorii Town.

• Schedule: On-call from 7:30am to 9am, Monday to Friday. Flexibility available for consistent scheduling if unavailable all five days.

• Compensation: Receive 3,000 yen daily for being on-call. If called in for work, an additional 9,000 yen is provided, totaling 12,000 yen for the day.

What we require:

• Native English speaker
• Current visa which allows at least part-time work
• Currently residing in the Saitama or Gunma area
