RCS English Events: Summer 2025

This summer, RCS Corporation was proud to host a series of exciting and educational Summer English events for students across Saitama. From Honjo to Ogose, Kamikawa to Chiyoda, and even the lakes of Midori, we brought language learning to life in creative, hands-on, and unforgettable ways.
Each event was designed not only to improve students’ English skills, but also to help them build confidence, explore new experiences, and make lasting memories with friends and instructors. Thanks to the incredible support and enthusiasm of our Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs), these events were an outstanding success!
Engaging Activities in Beautiful Settings
We took full advantage of the summer weather and beautiful surroundings of rural Saitama. We offered students a variety of fun, interactive activities, including paddleboarding (SUP), chopping wood under the guidance of outdoor instructors, and creating personalized fragrance blends in a scent workshop. Our goal was always the same: learn English while doing something exciting.
In one of our most popular activities, students chatted online with foreign guests from around the world. This gave them the chance to use English in real conversations. They improved their listening skills by hearing a wide range of accents and expressions.
These unique programs gave students the opportunity to step out of the classroom and experience practical English. For many, it was the first time they had used English in such natural and fun settings. We were thrilled to see so many smiles, hear so much laughter, and witness the progress students made throughout the events.
Thank You to Our Wonderful ALTs
None of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our ALTs. Across every location, our teachers brought energy, patience, and creativity to each event. Their positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. Not only in delivering the lessons, but in building the warm, welcoming atmosphere that helped students relax and enjoy speaking English.
Whether leading a craft workshop, paddling alongside students during SUP, or helping students make their own presentations, our ALTs were a central part of every event. Their presence made the learning personal and meaningful. We are deeply grateful for their contribution.
We would also like to thank the local communities, venues, and partner organizations who helped make each event possible. Their support allowed us to create safe, enjoyable, and well-organized programs. We are sure they will be remembered for years to come.
Looking Ahead to Next Year
After such a fantastic summer, we’re already looking forward to doing it all again in 2026! We plan to return to many of the same towns, as well as explore new areas. We hope to bring our unique blend of English education and outdoor adventure to even more students.
If you’re an ALT who joined us this year—thank you! We truly hope you’ll be a part of our summer programs again. And if you haven’t had a chance to take part yet, we encourage you to join next year. It’s a great opportunity to connect with students, try something new, and make a real impact outside of the classroom.
From everyone at RCS Corporation, thank you for helping us make summer 2025 so special.
Let’s keep building bridges through language, laughter, and shared experience—one summer at a time.
